Manzana chili verde and corn bread

It’s exciting week! What? This week Z’s making five new and exciting meals. Sunday’s was manzana chili verde (green apple chili). This was a strange dish. The most prevailing flavors were apple, jalapeño, and cilantro. Z liked it a lot. I’m not as big a fan. It also has beans, potatoes, onions, and other stuff in it. This is a Veganomicon recipe. The corn bread recipe came from How to Cook Everything Vegetarian. You can read the recipe here (note: not vegan). I enjoyed the corn bread quite a bit. Pour a little syrup on that and eat it up.

Z’s making Israeli couscous with pistachios and apricots right now. I’m nervous but excited!
