Palm Sunday

I might as well share a few more pictures from Italy while I enjoy some dark chocolate this evening. Before leaving Rome we knew we had to see Vatican City. We didn’t realize our planned trip would take us there on Palm Sunday until we were already on our way and saw lots of people carrying plant parts. As you might expect, it was a little crowded.

Besides all of the historical sites, one of my favorite things about Italy was that the most of the buildings were painted fruit colors. It made everything seem fresh and alive and was especially charming in less urban regions, like those we passed on our train ride to Venice. It was absolutely lovely. Now time for another bite of chocolate.

You’re a good photographer! What kind of camera do you have?

Thanks, Danny, but I’m really only taking pictures of beautiful things. I have a Kodak Easyshare m590.
